I'm a recent retiree who likes to laugh, listen, lounge in front of a fire, ride my bike along a quiet trail, travel anywhere, any way, or stay at home and entertain my friends. I like to listen to Beethoven's Seventh with my eyes closed, stand on the bow of a boat (even it it's a ferry) and get chilled to the bone. I like to play and sing music in harmony with kindred spirits. I like to watch Marx Brothers movies and laugh until it hurts, or soak in an outdoor hot tub on a crisp autumn day. And I love rainstorms and hiking in the Washington rain forest or along the Pacific shoreline. In a relationship I would bring a little knowledge and wisdom, a lot of hope and happiness, absolute honesty and sincerity, and a reasonable amount of intelligence. I also bring a healthy independence, strength and ability to work at a relationship, and the time it takes to honor that kind of commitment. I bring a sometimes humorous, sometimes baffling, sometimes frustrating right-brain dominance that even I don't always agree with. I lean toward conservatism, with occasional outbursts of liberalism.

I have three daughters whom I love very much. They do not live with me during the school year because their mother lives on the other side of the state. However I see them nearly every weekend as they stay with me on the weekends, usually 3-4 weekends per month.

My girls are my top priority, but I like to do many things in my free time. I love the lakes of Michigan and the outdoors. I like to get out as much as possible in the summer and go to various places all over the state. Grand Haven, Grand Rapids and Traverse City are my favorite places to go. I go to Grand Rapids quite often during the winter too, as I used to live there. Port Huron and the St. Clair River are the other places I go to often in the summer. My other favorite place to travel is Chicago! I go there as much as possible. I also like Tennessee, Kentucky and pretty much the south in general.

I am a paralegal by trade, and I love the law. I love new challenges, and I like gaining new knowledge, and the law challenges me every day. I am starting law school in the fall as I want to be an attorney.
